According to Variety magazine, this will be their fourth reunion, excluding the 10 other projects that DiCaprio and Scorsese are developing together.

The movie will be based on the true story of Long Island penny stockbroker Jordan Belfort, to be played by DiCaprio, who had to serve 20 months in prison for refusing to co-operate in a massive 1990s security fraud case.

Warner, who won the film after a mini bidding war with Plan B, will cast another name actor in the role of the FBI agent who tries to make Belfort an informant.
